About Us
Kristen started Reaching You Minsitries in 2004 in response to a realized need to reach out to others who are battling with depression and suicidal thoughts. As Kristen began sharing her story God continued to use her to provide His comfort to them through her testimony of His love and unconditional acceptance towards her.
Reaching You Ministries exists solely to lead others to a have a personal relationship with Christ. We know that only through a relationship with Christ will hope, peace, joy and a purpose for life be realized.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psa
34:18)
"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, ... "

Kristen's Story
At the age of 17, Kristen Anderson’s world was shattered. “I lost four friends and my grandmother within a year and a half, and at the end of it I was raped. My life completely fell apart.” Kristen attempted suicide by lying in front of a train, somehow surviving the loss of both legs.
Kristen’s second chance left her with questions. A visiting seminary student showed her passages in the Bible explaining her need for Jesus. Today Kristen is full of joy and peace, and lives every day for her Savior. “I love the life that He’s given me.”
